Consider this as an "active fighters' fans rivalry".

I have to say, this sounds very "fake" to me (can't express it better:oops:), having in mind that Mayweather is very likely to come back.

You guys are correct. I should have said active. And I left him out because he has no fights scheduled, is not active, has not personally stated that he was coming back, and really hasn't ever fought any of the current elite in WW right now.

I ain't saying he's irrelevant, but I a was kind of wondering about the fans of current active fighters.

if I had included him we all know that **** would win by a mile.

If you had said "Dawson" instead of "Calzaghe" in the parenthesis, it would still be a joke. :good

I understood how you thought of this from the start. :good

I was merely pointing out that this particular phrase ("let the man retire in peace") doesn't sit well with me, when we all know it is very likely that he comes back to fight again.

Yes, But not as funny(to me anyway:D). Reading the description up till i wrote dawson, who did you think i was describing?. It was meant as a jab to both. It failed. Miserably.:(
