Donair hasn't really impressed me. He obviously can whack and has very good punch placement, timing, and speed, but he has yet to really make me go "wow" outside of the Montiel KO.

Darchinyan and Sidorenko for sure wowed me... I don't know how they couldn't.

Looking back, struggling the slightest bit by his standards then stopping Hernan Marquez and Moruti Mthalane in the mid rounds is impressive.

calzaghe, though he was almost always in europe, never challenge himself, boring and ugly style to watch.
i couldnt bear to watch sven ottke and marko huck as well, terrible.
    couldnt stand eubank as well.
although i am from europe i cant stand european fighters who stay at home all the time.
kessler to a certain extent,i like the guy and he is brave, but cmon.

Some choices are baffling, Hagler and JCC should be nowhere near this thread.

Il mention Vargas to an extent, what he did at a young age was incredible and his style was exciting and he clearly knew how to fight, but alot of people on this forum mention him as a possible grim reaper for this current gen, I dont see it that way. I think Wright beat him and when he did step up he just seems limited to his style. Couldnt adjust to better fighters and couldnt adjust to his aging and career progression

Usually it's formerly impressive fighters that move up through the weights and are comfortably established as among the best in the game, therefore still get a lot of mention as if they are the same fighters from 2\3 weights down that bother me.

Marquez above 130 was mostly relatively unimpressive to me.Pac above 140 as well.

i think that MArquez could still hang with Pac at the higher weight despite a lot of lacklustre prformances was impressive, but judging the both of them simply as 140\147lbers....neither does much for me.

Mayweather at 147 and above too.You see all the threads matching him with Hearns, Leonard etc c'mon now.

Oscar and Shane above Welter are another two.

leonard at middleweight even though the Hagler win was a remarkable feat.

    A bit harsh

A Super Middle that thew over 100 punches a round with a solid chin.

The guy was very hard to win rounds off.

He clearly beat a prime Kessler, cleaning out the final rounds.

A bit sickening all the hate for a man who cleared out SMW, and then moved up to LHW while suffering serious hand problems and beat the man at LHW. People just love to hate Calzaghe.

Most unimpressive big names for me were Pavlik who was ridiculously hyped until Bhop destroyed him, as well as Chad Dawson a made who made his name beating Geriatrics

i agree. I remember people though Calzaghe was avoiding these 2. He'd have destroyed them both.
