the most hilarious fight I ve ever seen was the heavy weight clash between Nikolai Valuev and Andreas Sidon.Their encounter took place in a packed theatre in the Czech Republic's capital Prague a decade ago.
That fight had it all: bottles thrown flyiing like rockets through the air,the ring ground covered with alcohol and water looking more like a ice rink than a box ring,Valuev and Sidon dancing through the ring,fleeing ref who was forced back into the ring by violent fight fans(finally he managed to escape one or two rounds later),1-2 rounds without a ref,a ring round secretly cut to 100 seconds,Sidon after being counted out refusing to leave the ring and not accepting a loss,Valuev agreeing to fight on despite official victory for him.
Damn! That heavy weight fights must have been one of the most hilarious fights of all times.
I still take my hat off to Sidon's big heart and Valuev's decision to go on fighting an opponent in a truly dangerous place with a very violent and hostile crowd rooting against him.
