Yes it obviously cut deep as hamed never came back. For sure this is number 1

    I agree with TS that fight.....and starling-honeyghan

Overall tho as far as a specific fighter goes amir khan has suffered 4 acrimonious beatings....

Hamed fought Calvo a year later.

It often gets overlooked, but labouring to a points win over a guy he would have blown away in a couple of rounds a few years earlier, was probably as big a factor in retiring as the loss to Barrera.

Yes...i kind of willingly ignored that fight as hamed was a ghost....but that fight embellishes the point..we gotva chance to see exactly how barrera took away the soul of the man...in that calvo fight...the calvo fight enhances the barrera result

Such a frustrating clip to watch, all Graham had to do was stay out of range, Jacksons eyes were swelling shut, he could have just danced and flicked out the occasional jab and it would have been enough. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't know that but he knew what he had to do and stupidly opted to go at the deadliest puncher in the division.

In that same vein, Paul Smith Jr vs Andre Ward. I can't actually remember Smith throwing a meaningful punch in this one.

completely forgot about that one. I remember at the time it being talked about and thinking it was just headline grabbing and not a fight that would happen
