Being undisputed champion at Welterweight without ever 'rising to the occasion' is reasonably impressive?

He´s not one of the worst cases, but Clifford Etienne never lived up to a fraction of his hype.

Rey Bautista is only a kid yet and one bad lose doesnt mean he wont deliever in furute years. De Leon caugh him seriously cold in a fight that Boom Boom should never have being in, in the first place.

Bojado comes to mind first in terms of biggest hype on a national scale.

Locally, here in Detroit, I think if Octavio Lara, a kid that Manny Steward was training. According to Manny, Lara was the next big thing, and many in the local and national media bought into it. I saw his second fight, where he headlined a big show at Joe Louis Arena, and he had a ton of support, particularly from the Mexican American community. Unfortunately, he dropped a decision in his fourth fight, got into some trouble involving a drive by shooting, took a year and a half off, dropped another decision, and he hasn't fought in two years.

David Reid comes to mind. After Tito busted him up I haven't heard anything from him.

Right now I'd go with Andy Lee. There were so many posts about how great he was/is up to his last fight. The only thing I hear about him now is crickets chirping. Williams not quite @ this level now. We'll see how the both do from here out.
