There are tons of journeyman fighters with no skills other than having a great chin. Your base can't be "I've got a good chin", that should be the icing on top of a well layered cake.

 

I agree, people who go on about chins fail to realise that the point of boxing is to avoid blows and at the same time hit your opponent. Your great 'chin' saves your ass if you fail to protect yourself. In fact a very good ability to take a shot can be very dangerous for a fighter as he relies more and more on that ability whilst neglecting the skill of not being hit in the first place.
