Most impressive 6 fight streak at HW? (H2H factored) Is it Usyk? (Read OP)

That he fought down to his level of opposition like James Toney did, but not as extremely as Toney.

He looked really good in his four biggest fights before Usyk. I'll count those rather than McDermott.

Wait until you find out how the careers of Michael Spinks, Tyrell Biggs, Pinklon Thomas, and Tony Tubbs played out after fighting Tyson.

Fury destroyed Dillian Whyte because he actually cared about that fight, but didn't take Francis seriously.

I suppose you knew more than the oddsmakers who favored Fury over Usyk and can back it up by finding an old post of yours saying Usyk would beat Fury because he was past prime like 88 Holmes.

    I'll wait.

For me, Ali, Foreman and Tyson off the top of my head have single wins that eclipse Usyk's 6 fight 'streak'. I understand the point OP is making but great fighters beat great fighters, and sadly, through no fault of his own, Usyk is operating in an era where there are fighters who are 'great' by contemporary standards but retrospectively? I'm not sure. Now, here is a contradiction, I now rank Usyk highly for his undoubted skills and 'potential', the same way I do with Holmes, Wlad and Vitali...and to a lesser extent Liston. They dont have signature wins, passing of the torch fights, but I have Holmes @3 and both Liston and Wlad in my top ten..

    It’s not even close
Others have a 6 fight streak with a weak link.
Usyk’s 6 fight streak the whole chain is dodgy

Actually, after the Ngannou fiasco, Usyk was a favorite against Fury. Very slight, but still.

“Fury was initially a slight favorite at -130, while Usyk was listed at +110. “
