Mayweather had pretty good power at the lower weights, he was never a monster puncher. He threw more combos then, but the talk of him being a lot different below 147 is overstated. He always was smart and adapted to the opponent and situation. He had fights in the lower divisions where he was defensive minded and other fights at 147 and above where he would walk opponents down behind a high guard.

Usyk is on the verge of unifying at cruiser at 14-0.

Lomachenko has those semi-pro fights that some people count.

Andre Ward was solidly hof bound before fight 30 (Kovalev).

Jeff Fenech. Was robbed of a 4th World Title against Azumah Nelson
in his 26 fight. And had already made multiple defenses of his previous
    titles in lighter divisions.

Considering the tradition of fighting frequently in Sugar Ray's era I think he probably has one of the best first 30 fights resumes. He beat Marty Servo, Fritzie Zivic (2x), Maxie Shapiro, Sammy Angott, and Maxie Berger who were all rated at some point or were title holders. Mind you this is in Robinsons first year and a half as a pro with no extensive or international amateur experience at all.

85-0 was and is still an extensive amateur background.

That's not considered a lot of amateur experience today. Seeing amateurs with 200 fights is pretty common.

Mike McCallum's first 32 bouts included scalps of Milton McCrory, Julian Jackson and Donald Curry!
