Out of these 4 fights, which do you consider the most impressive and significant performance?

Considering Duran was out of shape, fighting above his weight, and past his prime, and considering the quality of opposition, clearly this belongs to him.

Duran Barkley should be in there instead.

If Duran vs Barkley had actually been there I would have voted for that.

Funny thread but you need to get back to posting some serious stuff, Pachilles. Your only saving grace is you're not as bitter about Duran's acclaim as Rooster is about Leonard's.

Voted for Mayweather-Corrales. It was basically Ali-Williams over 10 rounds and against the best opponent that Mayweather had fought up to that point, meaning that it was a huge step forward in his career.

I'm not nearly as impressed with him beating an old De La Hoya, (I don't hold a high opinion of Oscar anyway) and beating one of history's biggest front runners and choke artists doesn't do it for me either, especially considering Zab was much more into that fight that Chico ever was.

Hagler was as pure a middleweight as any champion of the division ever was, 29 years old, had not lost in over five years, was coming off his knockout of Scypion, which many considered to be his peak performance, and was a wide consensus P4P best in the world.

Duran was 32, and originally made a splash as a featherweight with his stoppage of Marcel. Although coming off a sensational beating of young upstart Davey Moore at 154, he was still badly undersized, and Hagler was a veteran of 50 more fights than Moore. El Cholo's final peak performance had come in Montreal three and a half years earlier, when he was nearer the age Hagler was at now.

The mind boggles at how this might have turned out had it been scheduled for 12 rounds, particularly as Hagler failed to accelerate his pace to accommodate the shorter limit the next time he heard the final bell. Duran's performance against Hagler was far greater than SRL's, as he took Marv on far closer to his peak.

Stop being a troll. I think you might have something to offer if you would quit being an Obsessive compulsive hater on Duran.

Just mad cause an Old Duran was schooling your Avi in a sparring session.

lora do you see this ****?? I told you. It is so ridiculous on here to consider Mayweather's shutouts of world class opposition are more impressive than Duran's clear loss to Hagler, that i must be trolling.

Well its not trolling anarci, its just proof you fruitcakes are prone to grow a bone when discussing hands of stone.

Thanks again anarci, the fact that through your eyes can see Duran schooling Benn in the following clip only adds to exposing the sexual undertone for Panamanian twink porn on this forum.

Well whatever you think of corrales i have to say that performace of mayweather is one of my personal favourite's to watch so it would clearly be the answer for me.

However a natural lightweight passed his prime giving a top 5 middleweight a decent fight was certainly impressive to me in its own ways.

If mayweather (who is basically similiar in size to duran.) could give peak bernard hopkins, monzon or SRR a competitive fight over 15 then we can talk. Until then i suggest a psychotherapist for your duran pathology...

It really is Duran-Hagler, but to be perfectly honest, I despise Mayweather and would vote for Duran...ANY fight of his, over Mayweather.
