Looking for fights where boxers dominated their opponents through technical skills and precision (as opposed to power and aggression). Fights that exemplify the art of hitting without getting hit...
Jorge Linares vs. Rocky Juarez Tippy Larkin vs. Billy Graham Erislandy Lara vs. Paul Williams George Benton Allen Thomas Ivan Calderon vs. Daniel Reyes Bernard Hopkins vs. Felix Trinidad Floyd Mayweather vs. Diego Corrales Vasyl Lomachenko vs. his last 4 opponents Richard Abril vs. Brandon Rios
Nice list. Hopkins-Trinidad and Mayweather-Corrales were the first that came to mind for me. I missed Abril-Rios and Lara-Williams the first time around; will check them out soon.
Rigo vs Teon Kennedy fits perfectly here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBqt9ffV0gw This is Rigo at his finest and why I'm a diehard fan of his despite his occasional stinker. He was about as perfect as a fighter can look here.
May/Corrales. That's the best ever performance in that division's history. Also, it HAS TO BE Floyd's best performance of his career.
Marlon Starling-Lloyd Honeyghan Wilfredo Benitez - Carlos Palomino Michael Watson-Nigel Benn These were counter-punching masterpieces.
Not quite fitting the mould but i thought Jones whupping of Toney was a fine portrait of blistering speed and unorthodox skill. Holmes shutout of Shavers was good too, even if Shavers was quite limited skill wise. Whitaker has quite a few and Camacho's schooling of Ramirez was excellent.
Kalambay-McCallum, Goyo Vargas v Paul Hodkinson. In some of Naseem Hamed's earlier fights, he was untouchable but that was more down to his incredible agility and speed rather than boxing technical ability, just like Ali-Williams.
