Most inspirational moments in a fight...........

Unfortunately you didn't just get the number of knockdowns wrong, you got the round wrong aswell

He was floored twice by left hooks in the 10th round, Corrales spit out his mouth piece both times and got deducted a point the 2nd time, and as Goosen puts the moutpiece in the 2nd time he tells Corrales 'You gotta ****ing get inside on him now', and we all know the rest.

I haven't watched the fight in a while myself but I must have seen it at least 10 times and I've watched that last round another 10-15 I'd say.
Epic stuff for what was for me the greatest prizefight ever.

 

Was unlucky not to be down there that night. Tried so hard to get tickets and travel arranged. But, in fairness the RTE coverage was superb and the commentary of the final round still makes the hairs on my neck stand on end. There's a Gorilla Productions video on Youtube of the top 5 fights of '09, and the final moments with the song Golden Brown playing in the background of RTE's commentary is fantastic.

 

He got up in the first Barkley fight as well, only this time Steele let him continue, for a couple of unnecessary punches...

 

Wasn't Hearns giving Barkley a hiding?

I've not seen it for ages......

 

Hearns had destroyed Barkley, busted him up real bad, and was on the verge of winning, then...

 

I think that fight might've been why i took to Lights Out Toney. He gave me Barkley's eye...even though i wanted his head on a plate for taking Tommy out.
