What was the most intelligent boxing performance that you have ever seen in the ring?

Intelligents a tricky word to really get to grips with... I mean sure something like Pacs recent performance against Marg would probably beat Benns performance against Mclellan,,, but then the later (just as one example) defied the odds even more and certainly showed more 'warrior / heart intelligence' I'd say. Hmm,, anyway,, tricky, ambiguous question imo - how about Marquezs performance to get the draw after round 1 vs Pac? Or his recent display against Katsidis... But then you could say that prime Tyson fights were always intelligent from his point because bulldozing through opponents quick,, and the air of pre fight menace he gave off gave him the edge and he fought the most intelligent fight a fighter like him could fight right?
I think Khans performance tonight will be intelligent enough by the way.
Maybe this is what you're getting at more? Where slick skills beat and tame aggresive punchers?
Anyway,, good thread really as there's so many to pick from.

    ray leonard was very smart:good
Also a recent one that deserves credit, pascal vs dawson, he executed the gameplan perfectly and beat him against the odds.
Ali was also great at stealing rounds and being very smart in the ring.

I dont know if floyd gatti counts, that was more floyds style and athleticism being way much for him to handle.
I think his recovering skills and dominating a fight are really good though.
