Crawford and Kovalev for me.

Kovlev looks like he's part of Russian mafia and Crawford has a very cold, emotionless appearance.

 

Yeah Kovalev seems to be a friendly guy but agree. I remember he wore a purse in this hilarious video... Agree though Kovalev is scarier than Beterbiev.

Kovalev pretty much seemed effortlessly Crunch KOing world champions/contenders.

 

Funny thing about this conversation is that the scariest looking are not necessarily the scariest, like Gennady Golovkin essentially looks like a very normal dude who looks after himself - he would not alarm most people if they knew nothing of him. Joseph Parker is not a threatening looking dude either, though I think from a lot of comments I've seen online a lot of people forget how "not small" a 6ft 4 109kg athletic guy actually is.

On the flipside, I've met Julius "The Towering Inferno" Long who lives in NZ these days - granted I am not an elite fighter by any stretch, but christ.... I would not want to be alone in an area with no escape routes or backup and having that guy enraged at me.

Szpilka looks like a Polish hooligan that might snap at any moment.

 

The size of the person or fighter plays a role in how intimidating a fighter looks. But it's the face and mannerisms that really make a person scary.

Guys like Joshua, Wlad, Lennox Lewis, etc. These guys would kill you in 5 seconds with bare hands, but they're mentally stable and non violent outside the ring. They wouldn't harm a fly.

It's the crazy guys you want to worry about. Yea they might be some little guy, but then it's those crazy dudes that will just whip out a pistol and blow you're head off. I mean Travis Bickle is 140 pounds soaking wet and far scarier than Joshua. I know he's a fictional character, but if you ever come across a deranged sociopath in real life they will give you uneasy feelings.

 

Luis Ortiz has that whole Uruk Hai thing going on. Very scary looking individual.

Usyk looks like a racist psychopath that would eff you up if you looked at him funny and enjoy doing it. Szpilka and Kudryashov likewise, though Kuds looks like he tries a bit too hard to be badass with the giant techno viking beard and shaved head.

Lebedev just looks like grotesque hunchback with monstrous mongo strength but a good heart. He's not really menacing though not someone I'd ever want to mess with with a face like that.

I actually find Bellew quite intimidating. Something about his dead, doll-like eyes I think.
