You have the luxury of making that statement because we all will never know. It's just speculation on your part. I recommend reading Foreman's autobiography "By George" and you'll get a better inside scoop. Foreman thought Tyson was tailor made for him and tried his hardest to get the fight to happen. Tyson told his people if they wanted Foreman so bad they could fight him themself. :yep
Absolutely correct, my friend! Foreman was a stylistic nightmare for Tyson because of his rock-solid chin and power. good:thumbsup
Foreman talked some serious trash about Tyson. I remember him saying "That boy better remember, I fought the best. I fought Mohammed Ali. I fought Joe Frazier. I fought the best. He fought ... nobody."
Sonny Liston, Jack Dempsey, and Hagler, a focused Tyson of 87-89, was up there too..oh yea i forgot about 70-74 Foreman..
Roberto Duran at lightweight. Punishing Ray Lampkin and saying it was a bad performance, while Lampkin is carried out on the stretcher to be taken to the hospital, Duran says on a better night he would have sent him to the mourge.
