Lyle vs Foreman staredown was epic.

During pre fight instructions some fighters go well out of their way not to make eye contact.
So it was quite different to see Norton and Young face off before their fight - both men barely looked at each other if at all! It was the absolute antithesis of a pre fight stare down.
If you could choose a winner of a non-staring contest I might’ve given that one to Ken, - I think Jimmy might’ve glanced up at Ken once or twice. Lol.
On point re Benitez’s stare - IIRC, when Ray receded first from their protracted pre fight face off, Wilfred looked so smug, slowly turning away, head still held up and smiling - very chuffed with himself.
Liston, but Holyfield looked like Death Incarnate before the second Tyson fight.
Though some say he always looked like that - most fearful/worried look might go to Michael Spinks prior to facing Tyson.
Liston, Tyson, Butterbean.
Seems like I saw an interview prior to that fight and Tyson was saying his usual mean things and looking evil and Spinks looked terrified throughout. His trainer or whoever was with him was trying to talk tough back at Tyson, but Spinks was looking like he pooped himself.
