that's bad for a former world titlist.:-( well the person above said it's a stay busy fight for brewster.
Whatever has went on recently has been a bit fishy. Pacquaio was the clear favourite boxer a few months ago when this thread was last made, its unsurprising if thats changes. The 3 others above are all good bets, eating a lot between fights isn't very professional but its nothing to dislike a guy for Surely that doesn't make you dislike him?
if brewster has anything left i'd give him the edge over peter. peter still a little crude, but they both took beating from the k brothers. i don't know if that fight can get made anytime soon, cause i heard either peter's manager or promoter filed for bankruptcy.
I actually have to agree with this. This is also why I think he might get a job as an HBO commentator one day. He's the on-time type of person, and disciplined. Lots of boxer who get offered to become commentators don't last long. They miss board meetings, etc.
you don't know how happy i was when mosley gave him a second head, and then koed him in the second fight. i was screaming till my voice went out. i'm sure you heard the story of vargas running in big bear and fell, and dlh went by and was laughing. well, the mother****er got what he deservered. dlh said he doesn't remember the story, and vargas claimed he was a dlh fan until that moment, and wanted to fight him after that. well i was a vargas fan until that incident.
I think Oscar is cool, eventhough I haven't met him. I can see why people would think of him otherwise, but I think again it's people misjudging him, because he's popular. Being popular is a double-edge sword.
well, if i remember correctly on pac/cotto 24/7 they said cotto's father comes from a military background, so you can imagine what it's like growing with a father like that. i'm sure his dad instilled in him respect, responsibility, punciality, reliability, and loyalty probably before cotto even learned to fight.
After over 30 yrs in & around boxing I've met many many great people. If I had to pick one I'd say 2 time world champ from Ft Worth Tx Paulie Ayala. Paulie is a great guy has a beautiful wife & family he's happily retired. Paulie was always available to his fans always working for charities etc. He really is on e of boxings good guys
