So there is a **** lot of talent at the 118-126 pound range at the moment but most still have a lot to prove as well in terms of how good they are going to be. There seem to be decent prospects of them fighting eachother as well with Donaire-Montiel locked in and Gamboa-JuanMa a certainty.

So who do you think is the best bet to go on and achieve the most out of these fighters? Obviously if you think there is someone else in the weight range who will do better just post with reasons.

Donaire I think but if Montiel beats him then Montiel only needs a couple more quality wins.

I voted Montiel out of the options.

The rest i feel have not proven as much as he has so he is definately closer. He also is a 3 weight champ and one more title at a higher weight is not out of the question so he would be one of a kind in his country.

The rest i feel have not been properly tested or have too many flaws.

Gamboa certainly has the talent to do so.

I think Donaire, Montiel, JuanMa and Gamboa all have the potential. We'll have to see what the next couple of years bring for them.

I was more leaning towards who has the potential to have the biggest impact rather than who is closest right now. Obviously, Rigondeaux is a mile away right now but some would argue he is the most talented of that group.

Do you think Montiel is the most talented and has the best prospects for the future as well?
