I think Green will lose to both Ward and Kessler and go out. Both of those two go through. Also think Dirrell will lose to Ward. Am I right in thinking that if this is the case Dirrell's future depends on Froch-Abraham? I.e if Abraham win both go through as Froch and Dirrell will be tied but Froch beat him, however if Froch wins he and Dirrell go through, Abraham is out?
No because Abraham already has 3 points due to his ko victory over Taylor.

Froch can punch using angles and has a massive reach advantage. That's why I see Froch winning provided he stays disciplined and avoids brawling and basically getting close to AA. Also, Froch can take a solid punch in case he does get hit. Froch is not going down from a punch like the one that sent Taylor to dream land. How will AA deal with Froch's power is also questionable.

The way I am looking at this one is similar to how Kessler beat him, its the straight right hand, froch's minuscule defense caused him massive problems against kessler's straight right, and AA superior guard to kessler and the same straight right I think will cause the same problems, but worse for froch as I believe AA to be better than Kessler. He might not go down from a single shot like against Taylor, but Taylor had a better defense than Froch, AA is going to land that shot over and over again imo.

Kessler was active for the whole fight tho thats why he beat Froch, if Kessler had slept for 1st 6 rounds like AA does then Froch would have won easy.

I seriously doubt that AA is going to sleep early on against Froch, he's gonna stand in front of him with his hands down... I doubt AA will say no to the invitation.

Froch has said he may well retire if he loses to Abraham. If he does, but Kessler beats Green and Ward beats Dirrell, froch will still go through because of the dodgy decision he got against Dirrell. I'm sure what he meant was that he will retire if he gets eliminated.

The only way Abraham can go out is if he loses to Froch, Ward beats Green, Dirrell beats Ward and Kessler beats Green. the Green and Abraham will be out.

Green and Dirrell. Green could pull a win out against Kessler, especially since Kessler's timing seems to have disappeared along with his accuracy (you could say they're the same thing).

For me it's almost inevitable that Ward, Kessler, Abraham and Froch will be the semi-finalists. In which case I can see Abraham versus Ward in the final. I have the sneaking suspicion that Abraham takes Kessler out in the mid rounds.

    Froch and Kessler

I expect a close hard fight between Ward and Green. If Green is competitive and goes the distance then there is a better than decent chance he can get the KO over Kessler - and slip into the finals (even with one less fight than the rest of the competitors and only one win).

Both Froch and Kessler are severely limited athletes and one dimensional. Young Dirrell is still a short but discernible distance from even seeing his prime - and is physically somewhat a boy still - and he made prime Froch look straight out pedestrian in terms of talent. While Carl has decent size (better height and length than AA) and durability - I think Abraham could and should pull out the win - either narrowly on points or by TKO.

Mikkel looked like a crash test dummy after the Froch win. If Green comes out of the Ward clash unscathed then Mikkel could be in a world of trouble. There is no time for MK to become a better athlete to enable him to avoid taking punishment. Green has sufficient size and better skill than Carl to cause Mikkel substantively more difficulty - it won't be another clumsy caveman brawl.

I never said he would KO him tho, pls tell me why you thiink Green can KO kessler when he has never been KO before?
And to be fair Ward shocked alot of us with how good he was vs Kessler, you really really think Green is going to have got super good over night and shock us all aswell?

Green is an obvious one. I don't see him beating Ward or Kessler. I'd say Dirrell and Froch are probably going to lose their next fights, though I give Froch a better chance of beating Abraham than Dirrell does of beating Ward, both are bouts between similar fighters. Ward looks pretty clearly a better version of Dirrell to me, Froch and Abraham are tough guys a bit short on skill, Abrahams poor work rate could cost him alot of early rounds and I don't think he'll be able to stop a hard man like Froch late, so it could be close on the cards. Either way if both Froch and Dirrell lose I think I read Froch would go through because he'd already beat Dirrell? So, Dirrell and Green out for me.
