Hopkins was on his knees looking for a way out: His spirit was broken and both Calzaghe and Hopkins knew it. Not even close.

Yes they did. They said the referee gave Douglass a long count. They timed it and said it was a 14 count.

I hate to be that guy but Mayweather vs Pacquiao.

How Manny and the rest of the "he didn't do nothing" brigade thought he won that fight is totally beyond me.

Klitschko Povetkin was a shutout Povetkin didn't win a round even the one Wlad was deducted a point in, nor did Jennings hardly any, maybe 2 if being generous.

That fight was totally ruined as a contest by Wlad's illegal holding.

I actually think Wlad has been a good champion and doesn't deserve a lot of the stick he receives from the english speaking public but his 'tactics' in that match were disgraceful. It does make me laugh how the Americans only seem to have an issue with it when he does it though. When Ward does it, it's clever rather than cheating apparently.

The nature of scoring in boxing often is forgotten at the end of the fight, I think.

One close round switching hands is equivalent to a two point swing - across 12 rounds that can be a big factor.

Any time a fight is reasonably close, there will always be someone crying robbery, but it's often not the case.

A shutout with 5 knockdowns. One of the widest scoring margins I've ever seen.

I can count how many clean punches calzaghie landed the first 7 rounds on two hands. Joe and his dad were so frustrated after the bell in round 11, maybe you should go back and rewatch their convo inbetween rounds. Vintage Hopkins. Joes best highlight was his weak attempt at gay porn.

I find Evan Fields particularly hard to take seriously and Lomachenko, I mean its not like he has anything affiliations that might cause him to be biased say like being a Top Rank fighter...

    Mayweather-De La Hoya.

It boggles my mind that some people not only had that fight close, but actually had Oscar winning.

That was a very clear cut win for Floyd, which I scored 9-3. At the very least, 8-4. No way in hell Oscar won more than four rounds.
