Don Steele is a great pic here. A regional fighter if there ever was one.

I believe he was 41-0 at one time with 41 knockouts. The ONLY recognizable fighter he had on his resume was Mike Dixon, I believe.

Sean O' Grady is a good pick, fought almost entirely out of places his dad owned winning a belt his dad made or some ****.

Do you feel Wilde was a great fighter regardless?

how is Wilde record manufactured. thats utter BS mate he is the best Fly ever.

i always thought Chuck Davey had a manufactured record as a made for TV fighter just looking at his record but he did beat Basilio convincingly which was a huge win for me and put up a great fight against Gavilan

Brian Nielsen, I believe was 50-0-0 before losing? Or am I mistaken.

Even more so Barry. He took on all comers and beat every title claimant in his weight range.

Larry Holmes' younger brother Mark had a career record of 38-1 against non descript competition. The only time he stepped up was against Chicago's John Collins, and he got KO'd in 2.

Didn't Peter McNeeley supposedly have a lot of knockouts going into his fight with Tyson? Come to think of it, his father had a pretty padded record at one time too. Like father like son, I guess.

I wouldn't say that, Gavilan must've had him down about 4 or 5 times and basically toyed with him at times. He really exposed Davey.
