No order Pbf had 90% of his opponents beat before he even left the dressing room. Very mentally strong with his belief in his boxing ability. The few times pbf was hurt the Mosley fight where he was rocked to his boots pbf didnt run he bit down on his mouthpiece and came forward and backed up mosely. His mental toughness is strong. Froch an old school warrior with the will of 100 men. The cobra never thought he was never out of a fight and simply could will his way to victory the Taylor fight is an example of this. Also his fight with saint groves where a faded froch scored a ko win in one of the most exciting finishes and underrated wins of this era. Andre ward arguably the most mentally tough fighter of the era. He moved up to 175 and took on a killer in kovalev. He won a close first fight and mentally ****ed kovalev in the second fight bullying the bully stopping him. A cool customer indeed who could never be intimidated ward is mentally tough no doubt. Loma this man is as mentally tough as they come in only his second pro fight he fights a savvy vet in salido running him close and arguably beating him. He was dropped by linares and got back on His horse and brutally stopped linares. His self belief in his boxing skills is second to none in the sport today. Most of his opponents are beat before they get in the ring with him. Who are your iron willed warriors?
Good list, it’s actually hard to think of fighters I was a fan of that didn’t show excellent mental fortitude. One fight that had me in complete awe was presscot vs Alvarado. Alvarado was getting ripped apart with gashes losing blood by the ounce and still managed to keep his mind strong, determined and fit for the win....amazing sheet.
DSG seems to be quite tough mentally. Willing to die in the ring, doesn't seem to get frustrated when being outboxed, keeps to his game plan. He's also one of the more critiqued fighters but doesn't seem to be phased by it at all.
I read your post but you praised Ward and Floyd do you know what’s gonna happen in this thread?!?! You literally make another TKO 6 thread
Mayweather showed quit in the Maidana rematch and faked an injury to try to get Maidana disqualified. He wanted OUT. But for this thread, has to be JMM. Then Pacquiao.
Stop it. Pbf is very mentally tough has shown it in the ring. Jmm is a good mention very mentally tough.
Another good mention. Seems to not panic even when faced with superior boxers or out gunned by bigger punchers like Lucas. He keeps fighting his fight and keeps coming unfazed.
