Oh no, it was clear. Clear rounds won in favor of each fighter. It's a only a matter of close and proper examination. I had a much more difficult time scoring Pavlik vs. Taylor II, or even Cotto vs. Mosley for example.

I score it how i see it. I had it 8-4 Williams. And i tried to be objective. And i thought this fight was easy to score. Williams dominating early while Margarito having some strong rounds late. But not enough. This wasn't like Winky/Taylor or Pavlik/Taylor where there were so many close and competitive rounds. It was easy to score. :hi:

Clearly, not all Mexicans are going to share the same opinion. However, there are many Mexican posters who claim Hoya won that fight.

That depends on your criteria for scoring, doesn't it? Because if you're scoring activity, and amateur style flurries, it's easy to say that Williams clearly won this fight, or that Calzaghe clearly beat Hopkins. If you're scoring on clean and effective punching it's extremely easy to say that Margarito and Hopkins won those fights - BTW, Williams landed alot more than Calzaghe did, although he was clearly outlanded by Margarito in rounds 5-11, and I challenge any intelligent objective mind to closely examine these rounds.

I saw Mayweather out landing DLH in the later rounds to secure a 8-4 fight. Believe me I didnt want to give the ***** the fight since you know the Cinco De Mayo thing but I knew he was gonna lose then it happen.

Brother, don't insult our intelligence. Ive seen the fight four times, and scored it all 4, 8 rounds to 4 rounds Paul Williams. Margo is tough, but he got cracked with uppercuts in the 6th round. Did they do alot of damage? No, but Margo is tough. Were they solid punches that made clean connection on the face? YES. Margo got outlanded in every single category. Activity is 1/4th of what I score for. Ring Generalship another. Defense and SCORING the other half. I give more credit to damaging shots, but 4 crisp lefts arent gonna be ignored when the bigger puncher lands a single right. Margo was outjabbed, neutralized, thus outgeneraled, he got outpointed and washed in the fights final round. He wasnt dominated but he was beaten. I can respect a dissenting opinion, but using words like intelligence when your own words have a biased slant is incredibly hypocritical and disrepectful.
