Most of Press Row Had Margarito Beating Williams

even you said williams fought his ass off...

shouldnt you give him more credit than taking away fro mit by saying that margo gave it away more than losing.. its like your not giving williams credit for the victory

 

yes and that is the plain and simple truth
yea i believe that with all things that are everything that margarito could and will hopefully avenge this loss in devastating fashion
a couple of facts
williams turned down an immediate rematch as stated in the interview and press conference immediately after the fight
williams has been more busy calling people on their phone than in the ring
basically williams has fought nobody and beat a man who beat him
called out pavlik in hope of media hype
he had hi sone lucky fight his ride is over hand over the bus ticket because his time has expired
ps williams will wear margs jockstrap at thanksgiving day dinner in order to appreciate real warriors thanks paul your dad will finally be proud

 

no because at the end of the fight williams looked the loser and he was the more beaten man.

Margarito is the best.

 

I watched the fight again and it was somewhat closer than i had originally thought. I had it 7-5 for Williams. The rounds were easy to score though. It wasn't one of those fights where the action was back and forth every round. The rounds Williams won, he won based on activity. The rounds Margarito won, he won because he landed some hard shots. But it was clear. Close but clear. I just don't see HOW one can give Margarito 7 rounds in this fight. Williams threw over 100 punches a round. Margarito threw 531 total. That's over 1,000 less than he threw against Clottey.

And another note, Margarito looked like a midget in there. The offical numbers are that Williams is 6'1" and Margarito is 5'11". Bullsh*t. When they are in their stance, Williams has 5 inches on him on their shoulders. It was funny.

 

Margarito beat the crap out of Williams and Williams refused to give a rematch to Margarito.

 

I thot it was pretty close, Marg might be able to do more, but you still have to give it to Williams.

 

Neither will getting slapped in the face a few hundred times.

 

He beat Cotto and Cintron that way.

 

Good fight. Williams won. Margarito is the better fighter IMO, but who knows who would win a rematch. Both are bad asses who kill themselves to make weight, yet have the stamina to throw 100 punches per round.

a clear UD for PW. I believe it was Margo's fault he didn't put pressure on Williams in the first rounds. When he started to put pressure PW got rocked many times. Still Margarito lost, no robbery in my eyes

 

LOL......There was very LITTLE holding in the Marg vs Williams fight....a point deduction for what? C'mon now....Marg just didn't get started early enough and Williams punch output gave Marg fits.....Give credit where its due. Thats like saying Marg beat Cotto b/c Cotto didn't box for 12 rounds. Marg was the reason for that just like Willams was the reason why Marg couldn't get his offense going early enough to take the "W" over Paul.
