    I know what you are trying to say but Mike was hurt quite badly and even tho he recovered well it kills off any one sided talk imo.

    Remember that fight, it was said that Buster Mathis said to the referee, Make Him Step Back, as Joe had applied pressure all night until the finish in round 11. Protesters were outside, as they still considered Muhammad Ali as champion, this fight was March 4 1968, in Madison Square Garden, for the Mew York Title. Ali was stripped of his title on April 28 1967, lost his boxing license on June 20 1967, convicted of Draft Evasion.

    If he did say that , and Frazier heard it, can you imagine the inner smile going on inside Frazier's head? He was probably thinking " Boy , I got you exactly where I want you, Begging the ref to keep me off that ass".
