I remember Buster Douglas turning up to face Holyfield in pretty dreadful shape.

Vivian Harris ran out of steam against Maussa after two rounds - he was pushing for a fight against Floyd at that time too!

Most suggestions i would imagine would be from the heavyweight division but for the lower divisions i would say Gavin Reese. Not that Gavin was technically out of shape...he had a decent enough engine on him but he does look like he should be fighting a couple of weight divisions below light welter where he won his belt.

usually found in the heavyweights, but in the lower weights, its got to be Juan Diaz...i know he's tough and good, with good stamina...but he looks like he doesnt train!

btw, i believe the physical appearance is no guage of a great fighter.

Well, yes the fat version of Toney ofcourse! Usually i never let the look of a fighter fool me, but i must say Sven Ottke didn`t have much physical appearance either

oddley enough... Juan Diaz. Probably not ever but I think he can cut some weight and do damage in the lower divisions.

Agreed. I always like Diaz but he always looked chubby, even at 135.

Max Baer. Max had a natural good build, so He didn't look like he wasn't in shape, but against Carnera and Braddock, he was much less than in tip top condition.

Sam Peter deserves a mention. He was sluggish and useless against VitKlit.

Toney never actually had a fight as a HW champ (unless people are counting the IBA).
