    Question is in the title. Are there any fighters who you regularly see discussed on this forum in terms that are substantially different than your own assessments of them?

    Most overrated on the forum? Maybe Duran.

    Underrated is harder to quantify, as they are not often mentioned, so I'll list mine. Cerdan, but you have to watch the films to best appreciate him.

    You cant be anywhere near the GOAT with such a primitive style and under developed skill set. His record may be impressive but stick him in the 80s and 90s at 160 and he doesn't achieve greatness.

    It is cyclical. Someone will make a good series of posts about a fighter, or a good thread or series of threads and that fighter's standing will be enhanced by that. Overstatement leads to backlash though; as does his being underexposed.

    In an "overall" sense, it is very difficult, but i'd mention:

    Overrated: Marcel Cerdan, Roy Jones, Mickey Walker (Divisionally but not p4p), Jimmy Wilde (at fly), Ricardo Lopez.

    Underrated: Lloyd Marshall, Glen Johnson, Panama Al Brown, Teddy Yarosz, Jackie Fields, Jack Britton, Pete Herman.

    "Old Foreman" and Duran above 135 are the poster boys for overrated around here.

    Um no, I'm not wrong about these. You overrate Lennox way to much. ****py_Hands acts like Foreman was the G.O.A.T.
