yes he was great possibly the greatest. but best ever

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ray robinson was the most overrated fighter ever. watch his boxing matches i dont get how people say he was beautiful to watch, the best ever. mayweather said it. now i am saying it. there is alot more skilled fighters that were better slicker boxers.

    ali
    swaet pea
    leonard
    mosley
    mayweather

i am not saying all would have beaten him i am saying they have been better technical boxers

Whoever said he was the most technical or the slickest? There is a difference between best at one area and being the best period. Ray was the best period.

    Mosley's skills are overrated.

Ali wasn't all too technical either. Robinson could at least attack the body well and throw a beautiful double left hook starting with the body and then the head.

How often do you see Ali going to the body well?

Who cares much about the past? The old fighters are held so high on a pedestal that it's impossible to reach that status.

You realize when you post like this you lose all semblance of credibility for your argument?

Mosley's more of a brawler than Robinson was. Robinson threw the best combinations I've ever seen, with the baddest intentions.

and mosley wings his shots, especially the looping right hand, paws with his jab, and leaves himself open down the middle.

ali left his left hand low, leaned back dangerously from punches, left himself open to left hooks, and mostly neglected a body attack.

OK - I just had this same arguement with the idiots in the Barber Shop.

Ray Robinson is the best fighter ever. Being active - level of competition - win to lost percentage - so on and so on.

You know what - I'm gettin tired of this arguement. Everyone is entitled to their opinion - but most people will tell you Ray Robinson is the Greatest - even me.
