Over 30 years ago in '76 Richard Dunn fought Ali in Munich for the Heavy Weight Championship and lasted 5 rounds in a fight that was clearly over matched, though kudo's to Dunn who had balls of steel, for putting up a fight & never giving up.Can anyone think of a more one sided fights for the Heavyweight Championships...I can only think of Marvis Frazier against Larry Holmes in the 1st round" mercy" fight when Marvis was pitched in after only 10 fights and was clearly not ready.
Seldon vs Tyson Bentt vs Morrison - but he won Do they have to be challengers, or can they be **** champions vs top (elite) challengers? Tyson vs Lewis :deal
In fairness to Danny he did last 8 rounds and had Tyson's ( albeit well past his sell by) scalp and at least looked a "contender" and would have blown away most of the H W of Richard Dunns era...Bodell ect.....Richard Dunn had the misfortune to challenge one of the greatest H W of all time on that night. I can even remember seeing BBC Sportsnight that week and the reaction by Richard when he looked in the mirror of his dressing room immediately after the fight...
it wasnt for a world title fight but kevin mcneely shoulnt have been let anywere near mike tyson let alone share the same ring as him
barely, patterson jabbed and he kinda slipped and got hit and fell to the floor hardly knocked down....casamayor-frietas type knockdown. patterson handed him differently. also rademacher was saying he was th ebest fighter in the world....best amatuer-proffesional. if teo stevenson fought ali in the 70's we would be thinking the same thing. it was an attraction. i would like to add herbie hide-damon reed the postfight interview was mad funny. herbie trying to say reed was in his class and that reed was robbed against Brian Neilson:rofl neilson bullied reed by the way. reed was lighter than herbie hide which astounds me
Is that Peter McNeeley or Kevin McBride. Well can't be the latter I suppose 'cos he won, but McNeeley was a ****ing funny fight. The he charged at Tyson, got put down and within a second was back on his feet charging at him again without even taking the ref's 8 count.
