I thought Bute was going to beat him, but not destroy him. Froch is tough as nails, but I thought Dirrell beat him though. It seems slick and black is Froch's achilles heel.

So, you admit that the poll is not accurate due to Klitschko haters. :think
To clarify, I like the K'bros, but I'm no hugger.

Yeah, on paper Froch beat Dirrell, but those of us who actually watched the fight know who really won.

I don't think they're overrated, but that might be because a lot of people rate them accurately.I suspect the reason they lose so many polls is because the majority of ESB'rs are pig sick of the nuthuggers bull****.
Mines is only an opinion so I can't say anything about the poll with anything resembling complete conviction.

what the hell are you talking about?Dirrell was running for his life out there, whenever Froch was close he was dropping on his knees and those who were really close to the ring can swear they heard him say "don't hurt me,man,i'll suck your dick".

If Andre Ward is over rated what does that make Carl Froch.

That's more like it. I'm not trying to rile anybody up either. It's my opinion on Froch that he loses to slick guys like Dirrell and Ward and Chad Dawson would do the same to him if they were at the same weight. Froch's technique leaves a lot to be desired.

I don't like all the Klitschko hugging myself, but knocking them is just as bad as hugging them. They exemplify exactly what a heavyweight champion should be.

You are ridiculous. Dirrell landed about twice as many punches as Froch. Froch was hitting air. I can see you don't **** about boxing. You must be Froch hugger, because you sure are on those nuts.

Joe did call out Roy, but then look at who he went on to fight? He claims that he chased a fight with Roy for years, despite never fighting in Roy's country or weight class. He also said in 2001/2002, "I think I could give Roy a hell of a fight, but I know what my capabilites are, and unless I was paid the Crown Jewels for it, I wouldn't be interested." The problem was, nobody was going to pay Joe the Crown Jewels, because in 2001, he was still relatively unknown outside of europe. Unless he'd have fought a few times in the U.S. and impressed, the fight never had a real chance of taking place.

It would have been a huge fight in the U.K. but it wouldn't have been a big event in the U.S. at the time. Joe could have gone to the States a lot sooner than he did, and built up a a U.S. fanbase, but he didn't. He was more than happy re signing his contract with Frank. Don't be fooled by Joe saying he wanted Roy, he wanted nothing to with Roy, when Roy was at his best. He later said that he was scared of flying. But he overcame his fear in 2008 when Roy was nearly 40, and 2 years after he said, that a fight with Roy at this stage of Roy's career, would be completely pointless.

In my opinion, Joe quite rightly gets criticised for his resume. He had the skills, but he didn't have the desire, that someone like Hatton had, who was less skilled. FW said that he tried to pull out of the Lacy fight, and he had to pull him around and convince him to take the fight. He also pulled out of fighting Glen Johnson three times. He also starved himself to make 168, when he could have moved up to 175 a lot earlier than he did, and had big money fights. He could have beaten the likes of Tarver and Johnson, but he didn't make the move.

FW has also said, that he wasn't injured against Lacy, it was a psychological problem. Frank says he never believed in himself as much as he should have done. So you have to ask the question, if he tried pulling out of a fight with Lacy, did he really think that he could have beaten Roy? Not in my opinion. Joe was a great fighter, but he always plays the victim, saying he was avoided all of the time. The truth is, he never did enough to try and get the big fights. Clinton Woods fought Roy at his best, Johnson 3 times, and he fought Tarver. There was no reason why Joe couldn't have gotten some, if not all of those fights. His ambition didn't match his skills.

Finally, you seem to be questioning Roy's resume, but at the same time praising Joe's?

Roy's resume is a lot stronger than Joe's resume, and by some distance too. He's also achieved a lot more than Joe has.

    Regards, Loudon.

Roy Jones. He did exactly what idiot *******s accuse Mayweather of doing, cherry picked his way through his career. Typical American hype job.
