Gamboa is being overhyped lately by even suggesting to step in the same ring as Pacquiao, he even loses to Rios.

Williams, without a doubt, was overcredited by Rafael and Yahoo (multiple P4P rankings combined) at #3. It's just the way how Martinez demolished a P4P-er, outclassed a much heavier Pavlik for the World MW Championship and looked good against pure jabber Dzinziruk that put him up high, plus the FOTY award. He did have intense moments vs. Barker, which he overcame, and he lacks elite defensive skills. Up there right behind Floyd or "just" top5 is up to one's personal opinion to decide, but IMO his good P4P position is justified.

Williams was never any good to begin with and Pavlik's alcohol problems is weell known. Barker is a clubfighter. Dzinziruk is a good win, but not enough to take him to the top 5 p4p IMO.

You might disagree and it's all good. It's strictly my take.

Im going with ward, premature p4p ranking for a resume that isnt that impressive yet people act like he is already a hof and enxt p4p 1 superstar.
I consider him a very good boxer allthough I dont like his style, if he wins the s6 he deserves to be top 10 ranked imo.

This. Guerrero batters him and I think burns would beat him in a close decision. And if he even thinks about moving up in weight the likes of khan Bradley matthysse etc would win comfortably

true. He's too small for both and he's too lazy on defense to beat them at his size

Yeah I see people rating his resume above Froch which I disagree with, but at the same time I think its basically a sure thing he's gonna beat Carl anyway

It's now Marquez. People are picking him to beat Aaron Pryor now, a few by stoppage.
