Personally, I pick tommy Morrison, who had no discernilbe talent what-so-ever (no, he didn't hit that hard). Honorable mention to Mark Breland, who they sold as some kind of future ATG, but was chinny and often looked like he didn't want to be there. It was disgraceful how they found him titles and "safe" challengers who still gave him hell.
Vitali Klitschko by a mile. The guy had three noteworthy performances in his entire career against the likes of Sanders, a losing effort against Lewis and a fat Kirk Johnson. And on that effort the guys around here seem to think he is some sort of destroyer. Way overrated. And one of the classic examples of flawed logic choosing potential over actual achievements.
Kelly Pavlik at the moment. The way some of you Yankeedoodles are carrying on about him you would think he had schooled Marvin Hagler for ten rounds before stopping him. In reality, he is a schooling waiting to happen - the guy is very good, but so one-dimensional it is untrue. Joe Calzaghe would stand him on his head :deal Also the *******edness is getting tiresome - thankfully the worst offender has been booted from the forum :happy
I think it has already been majority agreed in at least 10 threads since I joined here that Calzaghe's resume is the only thing over-rated, but his ability isn't called into question. Two different things. He's been the man at 168 for years.
