I'm not sure how much longer Mosley could've made 135. I'd make Mosley at least a live underdog against all the great lightweights in history, if he's not a favorite.

In addition to his talent, Mosley would also have a size advantage over the great lightweights due to the weigh-in procedure.

Mosley was better as a WW really. If you'll compare his later LW performances to his early WW ones, he was actually quite noticably faster at WW. Much stronger and better suited to the weight as well, according to himself.

He was just a bit too weight-drained at LW to fight to his full potential, and he never faced anyone of any kind of note there so it's hard to say how he'd have done with any great LW's. I'd like to have seen him against Stevie Johnston at least. That would have been a very good test, as they were amateur rivals and split fights there.

well we can agree to disagree on Hernandez ..

I myself would rate Floyd in the top 30 but even if he came back and beat margarito it still would change his standing based on margartio's resume.

calzaghe- he's not nearly as skilled as people say he is his boxing skills are an illusionn created by facing inferior opposition

Gatti was the best fighter available at 140. There was no else.

Cotto wanted none. Hatton wanted none. And Zoo was tied to Showtime.

IMO it would improve his atg standing if he came back and beat Margarito. Or Williams. Or even De La Hoya again, if he put on a masterclass this time and won by a wider margin. PBF never fought enough quality opposition at 147. Beating more champions at that weight would greatly enhance his standing, because he would be facing naturally bigger men and taking on dangerous opponents, and would have the chance to legitimately conquer a weight division that he never truly did.

    Khosai Galaxy

The fact that ring magazine ranked him above Tommy Hearns in their 100 greatest fighters list should explain everything right there:patsch :patsch

I know that. I commented earlier on the network thing.

It still doesn't make his resume and achievements at 140 any better.
