It's not that simple. He tested postive for an anabolic steroid. He was six times over the acceptable limit. Jones saying it was Ripped Fuel is Jones' s explanation - it doesn't make it true.

What evidence is there that Ripped Fuel can cause athletes to test postive six times over the limit?

jones (and hall) tested positive for andro which was over the counter in supplements at the time but banned by the ibf.

No way is he overrated. Guy was the most athletically gifted fighter, possibly ever. He looked untouchable in his prime. Only question mark is him being busted for steroids, and whether they played a major role in his dominance

 

Jones resume is actually underrated imo, at least on this board

Damn haters will hate regardless. The OP talks about Eubank and Benn beating RJJ? Is he joking? Although i love them to bits and they produced some classic fights in the UK, both would be beaten quite easily by RJJ.

I mean, no one including a prime Calz couldn't beat RJJ in his prime. Only recent guy that could is SRL.

It's a big shame he got caught takig steroids however, with or without them he would still be the P4P number 1 in his era.

 

We dont know any of this unfortunately. For all we know, they could have landed a flush shot on his chin and stopped him early. Its all speculation.
