Exact same scenario except for that Hatton is already number one and linear in the division...

So not really the same then.

Which means he's a legit fighter. Before Mayweather he hadnt lost a fight since 1998.

He can have 20 losses for all we care, who was he when Floyd fought?, the undisputed welterweight champion, right?, no?

Baldomir beat Judah who beat Spinks who beat Mayorga who beat Forrest who beat Mosley who beat DLH and the list goes on. So if Baldomir was nothing when PBF met him does that make all the rest mentioned in the list nothing?

He beat the undisputed champion which makes him the undisputed champion and #1 in the division. Either accept it or live in denial with the rest of the scrubs. :good

Yes it is, it's a mega fight that has suffered a set back and now it has virtually no chance of happening due to one mans unwillingness. Do you think id Hatton offered Witter a fight in 3 months time, Witter would turn it down? Not a hope. Hatton was being railroaded into a fight with him and due to Witters lack of focus, has got a get out clause.

Mayweather did not let a big money fight with Judah slip through his fingers, despite Zab'z loss. He pursued the fight, proved he was the better man and went on to win the WBC strap. You can talk **** about who's no.1 this that and the other till the cows come home, but Hatton has avoided a Witter fight for far too long.

Don't think it would've been one-sided but it would've been extremely entertaining and action packed. Baldomir is NOT going to get knocked out by Cotto no matter what whoever will say, if anything I believe Baldomir has a better chance to seriously hurt Cotto. Please remind me what happened when Judah landed the very same uppercut he landed on Cotto to Baldomir?, and compare with what happened to Cotto. Cotto would most likely win by UD but not easily considering Baldomir's style which is quite similar to Torres' and you remember what happened in the Torres fight?

    You're a dumb ass.

No one is debating the fact that Floyd owns "The Belts" at 147lbs.

Is Floyd going to fight anyone at 147lbs or is he going to keep masturbating all over the belts he recieved by beating a C- level fighter? Not only did he cherrypick Baldomir but he hasn't even faced a natural 147lb fighter since beating Baldomir. While everyone is fighting each other at 147(edit)lbs, Floyd's got his finger up his anus fighting DLH for incredible amounts of money which is nice, beating the big show to satisfy 13 year old kids and 31 year old virgin men, and beating an 140lb lil Ricky Hatton a fighter that barely got by Collazo and quite frankly couldn't beat a single top 10 147 lber today. No disrespect to Ricky but he ain't a 147lber.

You mean when Torres hurt a ridiculously weight drained Cotto?

Cotto would have stopped Baldomir just by absurdly outclassing him landing 60%+ of his punches and rearranging his ****ing face. Cotto couldn't KO him at the chin, he could slow him down with body shots and stop the fight by deforming his face. I am 100% sure that the doc wouldn't let baldomir take 12 rounds of punishment by the hands of Cotto.

Hatton v Witter was never a megafight, never a big money fight (anymore than Hatton could get against anyone) and Hatton wasn't being railroaded into it (he has Malignaggi lined up, then Pacquaio is making noises, the Witter fight could have happened if other options didnt pan out).

Mayweather fought Judah who the previous number one in the division, then Baldomir who had the linear title. Hatton already has those things and neither Witter nor Bradley ever have.

A more equivalent situation would be if Mayweather now fought Paul Williams, then Carlos Quintana.

    Mayweather cherrypicked Baldomir?

But how did he make sure Baldomir was the linear champion?

He probably has one of those mind control devices, right?

cotto was weigt drained at 140 torres hits 10x harder at 140 than baldo at 147 and is also much faster than baldo baldomir had 13 ko in over 40 fights so how is he going to ko cotto :patsch :patsch
torres is a much more credible champ at 140 than baldo at 147 and if he goes up to 147 he will beat up baldomir,
