I dont think Tarver is over rated, he did beat jones IMO all three times when they fought, if you say he is over rated Hopkins win over him is meaningless and I wont take that credit away from a well proven fighter like Hopkins

James Toney as a HW now we have something!!! that mother ****er is over rated, has had how many shots at the title only to turn up positive for the roids a second time, when will his fans learn that he was doing this **** for years.

Crazy. I bet you think Vitali should have been able to continue their fight and would have probably won :yikes

My picks (which probably are no better than then ones above:

    Overrated: Pacman
    Underrated: Calzaghe

Pacman I hear you say. I think he is an exciting quality fighter but I think he is similar to Naseem Hamed in that any quality boxer would be able to out box him.

Will be interesting to see where Calzaghe will be rated in the P4P listing after the Kessler fight

Hopkins had a good win. But regardless of that, Tarver beat a shot Jones. I suppose though. No one ever called him the greatest LH (maybe he did himself a couple of times:D ) of all time. So overrated maybe a bit harsh.

But I still hate the ****. He needs to learn a bit more humility.

Underrated -- I'd go for Larry Holmes.

    Overrated -- Marciano.

Sorry long reply, forgot about thread. I don't mean he wasnt a great fighter, one of the best in fact, but a lot of people put him in the top 3 fighters of all time, i can't agree with this. If he was a quiet man, he would have been a top 15 P4P, but he wasn't, i feel his persoanlity carries a bit of his legacy nowadays
