Its usually correct but its such a trite truism/cliche that commentators would be better of phrasing it in a different way because boxing fans have heard that **** a million times

 

''He's area level'' some mong will always say this about a British fighter after they don't perform very well when they are clearly above that.

For example ''Conor Benn is area level''
