Had fought something like 3 guys with winning records prior to his first title shot... and they were in the 5-3-1 range. Unbelievable padding... 26-0 fighting 8-14.

I agree. He was protected in Englad and has his best wins over old guys and an overrated (we see now) kessler. Does anyone think in their prime that Hopkins and Jones lose to this slapping fighter? I think that wrecking ball out of Germany, Abraham would ko him even.:hat

joe calslappy without question, he was one of the most protected fighters in boxing that made a career over fighting clubbers and over the hill legends. who is that one middleweight who has the record of most first round knockouts?? thats a padded record.

The Father and Son team named Chavez,Sr, and Jr. has an unbelievable amount of Tijuana taxi drivers on thier bloated records. At Chavez Sr. stepped it up after 40 odd fights,Jr. continues to fight tomato cans.

Billy Fox stacked up a very impressive knockout streak (36Kos to start his career) under suspicious circumstances. Lamotta threw a fight against him and some of his knockouts were rumored to have never even taken place. Most of his wins were over no hopers he didnt start losing till later in his career when he started fighting decent competition.
