Most people thought that GGG won both fights against Canelo, but the reason Canelo won the second fight was because De La Hoya wants to make the third match between both fighters to make a huge sum of money. In other words, he bribed the judges. DLH is a businessman so he knows what he should do. Simple as that.

But you miss the point entirely.

If GGG had been correctly awarded the first fight, there would have been no demand for a rematch because if scored correctly, it wasn't close.

I've seen far far more Pro's, coaches, pundits, boxing journalists etc give both fights to GGG, even to the point that some mexican's have given it to GGG.
There's a reason Canelo + DLH will only fight in vegas with the input for the judges being mostly chosen by DLH.
How many dodgy acts do you need in canelo favor to prove that Goldenboy is corrupt ?

    118-110 GGG 1
    114-114 Floyd
only 6 month ban for 2 failed drug tests (Coincidentally long enough for Canelo's Knee surgery and enough time for rematch)
No investigation into the hand wrap debacle

Im not a tin hat type of guy, but there's a limit to how much **** you can take before you realize someone's moving the pieces. Canelo had a great chin, yes and at times did very well in trading and his defensive skill is impeccable, but his Stamina and lack of volume is his downfall. His jab is virtually non-existent.

And so people know my "Bias" - I scored the first fight 8-4 and second fight 7-5, both for GGG and i was being more lenient towards Canelo on the second fight.

    Cleaner punches? No.
Better defence? How if he got punched more often?
Ring generalship? Well how if he got hit more often and more cleanly?

AGAIN- you DO NOT SCORE FIGHTS BY GOING THRU THE 4 CRITERIA AND CHECKING THEM OFF

Its clean, effective punching. The other criteria are not only rarely needed, but seem to be misunderstood. Coming forward is not neccesarily effective aggressiveness, just as dancing and jabbing is not neccesasarily Ring Generalship. And you should ignore missed punches.

Also, who did all these things for the fight is irrelevant too. Its round by round only.

My major issue was round 12... they judges had it close so they said "unless ggg hurts him badly, let's give it to canelo" GGG won round 12 hands down but.. the fight was still pretty damn close, I didn't feel a robbery persay, but I did score it for ggg 115-113. and I stand by my score. GGG took over the fight in the second half.

This was just a very close fight that was hard to score. Neither fighter clearly won and there were a few swing rounds in there

You instantly lose your credibility when you say Canelo did not land the cleaner punches and had better defense. You're aware that Canelo landed more power punches, right? Are you also aware that GGG landed more jabs, and even the pawing measuring jabs are counted as a landed punch?

As far as a Ring generalship, it was obvious Canelo was fighting his fight. In the first fight he outboxed GGG by using movement and counters. In the 2nd fight Canelo kept the fight in the center of the ring outlanding GGG in power punches, and clearly landing the cleaner punches.

The only problem I have is, people calling the decesion a robbery. The question is, is it outside the scope of reason that Canelo won? I say no, it is not, therefore, the decesion is not a robbery! I will say, it is very entertaining to witness all the crying from all the over the top, sack sucking G fans. I love it! All the over the top threads and posts made by some of the G fans, all of the blatant hypocracy and outright hate spewed from their bubbling lips. I hope the Canelo victory remains a festering, puss filled wound, that throbs in their minds for decades to come! LOL

Canelo did in the rematch what GGG did in the first fight, without getting hit nearly as cleanly. Seems to make no difference to some.

I definitely could not judge a flower arranging contest, whatever that is.

I do however know what the the scoring criteria is in a professional boxing match.

    Clean punching
    Ring generalship
    Defense
    Effective agressiveness
