Even some that do, don't pay enough attention either. Takes a lot of film study and a good eye to really pick up on a lot of stuff in the ring. Some people know a lot about boxing, but have a terrible eye for catching action. Been watching boxing for a pretty long time, and I'm still always learning stuff about the fight game. It's just one of those things that you can devote your entire life to, and STILL not know everything about. Best thing you can do is learn to respect all the fighters and their respective styles, and study about the fighters of the past to give a well-rounded perspective.
i clicked disagree by accident. I agree, its pretty much a minority sport now so most people dont know **** about boxing
Definitely agree, prime example Pacman got hit 229 times against a slow, plodding, fighter, in Margarito. But people here seem to believe that Pac will dominate Mayweather, when not only Mayweather is the most accurate puncher in the game, he has better hand speed than Pac, and also the best defense in the game. But I digress............... Agree's 100% with Roger, most people don't know s**t about boxing.
couldn't agree more. what inspired me to make this thread is reading that mayorga is a wuss and a coward...a coward does not fight like that vs a hard puncher like cotto and then why would he want to fake such an injury with just 2 minutes left. he came out swinging in the 12th.
A woman is watching the news, when it is reported that there is a car driving up the motorway on the wrong side of the road. She remembers that her husband is travelling along that same road and, worrying, quickly dials his number. "Honey!" she shouts, when he answers. "Be careful! There's a car driving the wrong way on the motorway!" "It isn't just one!" replies her husband. "There are hundreds of them!"
