    Some mentions from me

Physical freaks like Sonny Liston at heavy - and also Max Baer, Abe Simon maybe

At middle and light heavy I guess Sam Langford has to be up there

    Gerald McClennan?

Jake Lamotta was built like a brick wall

More recently Canelo is a beast

Tommy Hearns in terms of welterweight he was physically big enough to go all the way up to cruiser !?

    Barbados Joe Walcott

Jim Jeffries was a massive guy as was Luis Firpo

So? Look at the dimensions of the guy compared to any other WW.

David vs Goliath springs to mind.

    Ike @ HW?

Big, muscle on muscle, great chin, big power and huge output.

That's the definition of a scary HW, IMO.

Y es. Ike ibeabuchi is a good pick. Still i go with foreman... A natural physical monster who did not train weights and still was a huge thick framed guy strong like a bull. If he trained in a gym... What a freak

    People are seriously slating Hearns?

What do you expect for someone who weighs as 147lbs? Arnie?

There will NEVER be a WW that was as physically opposing as Tommy Hearns.

    Let's take an example...

    Manny Pac: Height 166cm/Reach 170cm
    Tommy Hearns: 185cm/203cm

    See the difference?

The second greatest Welter of this era is outsized in MOST of his fights. Now look at those stats against Tommy...

Those dimensions are simply frightening for a Boxer of that weight.

    A true freak of nature.

"But he never had muscle!" - Yeah, in Tommy's day it was frowned upon to lift weights (we now know better). And, oh yeah, he weighed 147lbs and was 6ft 1" - he WILL look thin.
