PPV sales in USA Mayweather has the edge but World wide I think Pacquiao is more popular though not by much.

 

The question was "Who has the most FANS?" This isn't even up for debate. Casuals buy a Mayweather fight to see him get knocked out, only hardcores appreciate his boxing skills. Meanwhile, the Philippines has about 95 Million people living there, and not much else to root for. So it's Manny by a long shot.

 

If it's popular as in people who like them then it's Pacquaio then probably Wlad. If it's popular as in well known Floyd is u there with them.

Popular suggests that you're suitable to many.

Floyd is a boxer's boxer. The majority of the population doesn't like him since they don't grasp boxing well enough to understand his style

Floyd's the man among boxers and amateurs. His product generally isn't for the average joe who hasn't ever laced

 

I rather be among a niche market than the mainstream market. A niche market usually has a greater proportion of people who know their **** than the mainstream market.

Yeah there is that but Manny has got an entire nation behind him, Floyd hasn't. Floyd is probably better known than Manny in the UK though.And he's very popular amongst boxing fans despite being a bit of a bell end.

 

People clearly don't know the meaning of the word "Popular".

It means to be regarded with favour, admiration and affection. CLEARLY the most popular is Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather gets more PPVs not because he's popular but because he's hated by many and notorious as well, people want to see him lose.
