Who is/was the bigger draw in boxing? I can only go with Golota. If Golota was only one thing, it would be exciting. Golota had quite a few PPV's. Of the ones I can remember, Tyson, Lewis, Bowe II, Byrd, Ruiz, and can't remember if Adamek was. Thoughts?

If Galosha would sort out his brains he would be a great boxer

Golota was more popular in Poland, But Adamek is the better fighter here.

Golota would of been a beast if he had not been so mentally disturbed...

Golota a great fighter. Just as we saw agaisnt Riddick Bowe both times.
Good hand speed, good jab and all around a good boxer.

But then again, also stupid as hell as a fighter. Foul Pole!
Just a dirty fighter. Beating a mans jewells. Such and ugly fighter.
He also bite and headbuttet some guys too.
Glad Tyson beat him up as hell.

Can't speak for in Poland, but in the Polish-American communities they're both extremely popular. Golota holds a special place though and he's the bigger name.

Golota as far as non-Polish Americans. I can't speak for the UK or other parts of Europe.

I like Golota. I love truly insane people. Their unpredictability makes great viewing.

In a documentary on Wisława Szymborska (Polish nobel laureate for literature) they spent a few minutes on how huge of a fan of Golota she was too.

Golota easily. He was also the more skilled fighter, by far.

True, but in a way I like Adamek more because while Golota had a nasty habit of finding ways to lose, Adamek seems to find ways to win despite not being a superb technician, particularly powerful, or all that fast.

It was apparent that the car wreck messed Golota's left arm up pretty good. His awesome jab was basically nonexistant after the wreck and he lived off of body shots and right hands the rest of his career. I think he did knock out McBride with a left though.

Yes... skilled, in terms of jabs & combos. But Adamek is faster and dances better.

My vote is Golota. Adamek could never have inflicted the damage onto Bowe like Andrew.

In the brain department Tomasz hands down.

Golata hands down for me as a HW. If Adamek was around in Golatas time, he wouldn't have achieved half as much as big crazy Golata. He should have beaten Bowe had his brain not gone into melt down. Adamek would have been taken out by Bowe.....
