Both Roy and Bernard claimed titles @ 175lbs. Exactly HOW many 175lb'ers has the Triple Duck beaten?

That only proves that the 'Middle' divisions back then were **** POOR in quality, that explains why these two smaller fighters can GO UP in weight and become champions in multiple divisions. Golovkin would have knocked out any 175 pounder in that period as well :bbb

More like it proves how good Jones and Hopkins were.

McCallum, Toney, and Nunn also won titles in other weight divisions. McCallum went on to win a title at 175.

I wish Golovkin was around to fight Pavlik when he was plowing through the Middleweight division.

I'm having trouble seeing Golovkin beating Toney, Jones, or Hopkins. The rest, sure.

But still Triple GOD would annihilate the competition in the 90's.

Toney was weight drained at 160. GGG could catch up on cards late for close win.

Jones and Hopkins beat GGG at this point I'd bet.

Toney would school him. Nunn aswell defo. GGG gets hit easily by C level fighters. This new internet generation of boxing fans are clueless idiots with no knowledge of the sport.

Guys, I am a huge fan of GGG. He might even be my favorite active fighter at the moment. That said, it seems like the hype is getting a little out of hand. I don't know how many of these comments are meant to be trolling or if they are actually serious, but some of these folks would have you believe that Golovkin KO1 God. He is an exceptional fighter, of that I have no doubt. I would back him against anyone he fights today. Just let's not award him automatic wins over fighters of the past who have proved their greatness in the ring. I would love to see those match-ups though if anyone's got a time machine laying around.
