You can smell the butt hurt off this post, the desparation! There's so many pot meet kettle, double standard stuff in there but it's not worth the the effort to dissect tbh...
The butt hurt of Canelo from GGG fans and EE fans desperate to find someone they can argue is P4P #1 instead of Canelo. Won't change a thing, Canelo will remain #1 P4P on all official lists between now and the Plant fight.
"Jumping" weight basically defines what P4P means IMO. Hence why its difficult to put HW as P4P. Also how good does that Callum Smith win look now.... I hope Castillo is ok.
Canelo should not be Top 3, he would have to be #1, but so many shady “ wins” are on his record and he was caught juicing , so imo he don’t belong in top3.
1 Oleksandr Usyk 2 Canelo Alvarez 3 Naoya Inoue 4 Terence Crawford 5 Josh Taylor 6 Teofimo Lopez 7 Vasily Lomachenko 8 Tyson Fury 9 Artur Beterbiev 10 Mairis Breidis
I'm not one for ignore lists, but that is certifiable trolling right there. Uysk's footwork last night was masterful Ironically that if anyone currently at elite level could be termed a plodder, it's Canelo whose footwork is not the best aspect of his game.
Usyk uses a lot of awkward footwork, a lot of herky jerky motion. The kind of constant movement he used in the early rounds worked against AJ, but it wouldn't work at the lower weights against faster and more athletic fighters if we're comparing him to other fighters in a P4P sense. He has good footwork for a heavyweight don't get me wrong, it's just an awkward bouncing back and forth style that caused AJ problems, that's what I was getting at.
well "Plodder" was obviously the wrong word to describe it with, lol and who knows exactly how a shrunken down Usyk would perform, maybe far faster than his current heavyweight size is just as possible shadow. Now tighten up your posts or i will come after you a second time.
