Wach, easily. Bomb after bomb after bomb for 12 rounds against HWs hardest hitter, and he didn't even flinch.
Nonito's chin looked good against Rigo. Danny and Matthysse too. (I don't think that kd was from a punch)
Oscar had a great chin, but he was maybe stopped too easily against Hopkins, all be it to the body, to be named ultra-durable. John Simpson is another fighter with a great chin who was stopped by a bodyshot. Shane Mosley had a great chin. David Tua, of course. Vitali Klitschko (glass arm though).
All good shouts and of course Hopkins also had a great chin Calzaghe too but trying not to dilute the thread - the likes of Margarito rival McCall in the chin stakes
Margarito has one of the best chins I’ve ever seen on a boxer. Yes, he got KO’d by Mosely but he has (IMO) the worst defence in the history of the sport at world level. His defence was literally his chin. I can’t think of a single fighter that could take more punishment than Margarito on a consistent basis.
:good Coudn't agree more. I posted something similar on the Classic forum, then got berated for trying to claim Tony had one of the best chins of all time. And these guys like to think they know a thing or two :-(
