He got a 2 million guarantee for fighting Canelo. I don't know his total amount with PPV upside. It's less than 6 mill I'm guessing.

LOL he just fought Liam Smith. You don't go from wanting to fight GGG to fighting Liam Smith therefore your story doesn't add up. The WBC saw what Oscar and Canelo were trying to do (and did) they were trying to enforce Canelo to face his Mandatory who had already been waiting for a long time. I don't call selling 250k PPV's and losing the promotion millions of dollars being a Cash Cow. That is being a cash loser.

Probably with sponsors as well. GGG will probably earn 20 mill maybe more when the PPV numbers come in, if they fought..

Awww. No wonder he made that much, he recieved money from Box nation... it makes sense now. I'm sure Box nation would be in on the PPV in the U.K for Canelo-GGG..

It was a flat fee at first, then the ppv upside thing came out. Now Oscar says the arrangements can be made, which tells me the negotiations are ongoing and cut from the ppv is negotiatable, which make sense since there's still around 8 months to come to an agreement.

That makes sense. 10 mill plus PPV upside is still a great deal!!

Now that would be a fair deal, but I doubt the opening offer is that good. No one opens negotiations with a fair deal, that's why they have to negotiate.

Good to know. Let's hope common sense prevails and we get the fight!

I don't think BoxNation does ppv, they just have monthly subscribtion fee.

If you don't give a sh*t about the money, you should have no issue with Oscar giving K2 a percentage.
