Been some pretty epic crashes too IIRC. Did Bute/Froch RBR go down on here? I know it did somewhere...

I included the co-main events for #1 and #2, btw, to show what a high bar it is to clear 4k.

Opetaia vs. Breidis II and Wilder vs. Parker on their own both are probably at least 1,500 reply RBR threads. That's the kind of support even a huge matchup like Usyk vs. Fury needs to get up that high. Joshua vs. Wallin of course wasn't a superfight on the same tier as Usyk vs. Fury, but as we've seen AJ is the sport's second biggest star behind Canelo currently and besides - that was the big Saudi card that also featured Bivol vs. Arthur, Opetaia vs. Zorro, and several moderately interesting HW supporting bouts (Wilder-Parker chiefly, but also Dubois-Miller, Sánchez-Fa, Hrgović-De Mori, and Kabayel-Makhmudov).

I was drawn back to ESB recently. This place has definitely become the premier boxing forum again. Diverse group of posters that all love their boxing.

A lot of the flaming crap that used to hold the forum down has gone missing. There are different views on things but no real grudges.

I went missing for years too but this is currently the best boxing forum and that's why I came back.

I knew what I was clicking on here, but I meant the accidental YouTube click.
Actually I take that back you never know what you are clicking on here.

I'm actually shocked Mayeather-Pac is 29th on the list, being as big as it was in 2015, I would have thought it would have been top 10 at least.

I still remember there being like an hour of dead air between some fights and thus the number of replies kept increasing at an exponential rate. And then it became the most replied RBR.

 Now we have 11 hour Saudi cards that break that record constantly.

    Cool list. Very impressive.

Just curious. Are all these threads where people posted directly to them ... or are they threads where a moderator came in and cleaned up a pile of post-fight threads that fill up the front page and added them to the existing RBR thread?

BS list. My Tye Fields-Mariusz Wach RBR had over 5,000 replies but the mods deleted it.

    Sad.

I can't speak to current practice since myself no longer being a mod, but that has never been a practice for RBR threads in my experience. Other kinds of threads (poll/prediction, general chatter, etc) yes but RBR no.

If anything the numbers shown are light, because a lot of times overzealous admins or mods end up batch-deleting tons of posts they consider "illicit" that may in fact actually be harmless.

Maybe people in general just post more freely than 5-10 years ago. I almost never posted for my first 10+ years on here, now I got my first ban during the #9 RBR event Crawford-Madrimov thanks to drunk posting. Every so often I also come up with a relevant observation.

Ironically, as of yesterday AJ bumps himself from the all-time most-replied-to RBR top 100. This means he still has twelve appearances on the list - except with Dubois replacing Whyte as dance partner.
