A regular person of the street can never beat a pro boxer, no matter the level of the pro. Which is ridiculous on so many levels, certainly when you just realize the simple fact that many "pro boxers" are actually just guys of the street, who step in the ring to get beaten up for some extra cash. Some obviously don't even train.
%10 of the Nutter Fans on here say the first Canelo V Golovkin fight result was not a Corrupt Decision.......Has to be one of the Worst.!!!
Well, they are leagues apart in skill and physical ability. Woukd I be 100% cobfident in Canelo beating him right now? Nope. But I think he could do so with surprising ease.
He has at least at the bare minimum a 35% chance of winning that fight. It’s probably above 40 tbh. I think Fury will struggle with the style. He went into the trenches with Wallin once he stuck it on him and let his combos go. AJ already beat him up in sparring as well.
The idea that Mike Tyson, fifteen years retired and even longer over the hill, would be able to beat any heavyweight with a pulse.
You’re gonna hear these kind of takes any time you discuss the sport with a casual, though. It’s pretty much expected.
He didn't do well at age 37 against Kevin Mcbride (the most journey-ied of journeymen) or Danny Williams though......... But I digress: The most ridiculous thing I've ever heard was that Sugar Ray Leonard could've beat Tyson back in the 80s if he would've been able to keep moving. This came from a manager where I work who's a MMA nut. He also said Floyd would've beat Tyson for the same reasons. Usually the most ridiculous **** I hear always has to do with a total disregard for weight classes when comparing boxers.
There are people on here who believe PBF is a fighter. They don't yet realise he is only a grade A spoiler and runner, with no shame.
I remember when the first Fury vs wilder fight happened and someone said “nobody would have brought this fight if they hadn’t mentioned Anthony Joshua at the press conferences” utter rubbish of course
Well, I read one week ago someone in here 100% serious saying something like "people see Canelo as undefeated" which would be a good one... Still, I would go with "Mayweather vs McGregor was a really competitive boxing match". This one pisses me off the most
