Canelo is known for getting special treatment from at least 1 judge in every fight. 118-109 vs Trout (Punchstats: Trout - 154 , Canelo - 124). 114-114 vs Mayweather (Punchstats: Mayweather - 232 , Canelo - 117). 117–111 vs Lara (Punchstats: Lara - 107 , Canelo - 97). 119-109 vs Cotto (Punchstats: Cotto - 129 , Canelo - 155). 49-46 vs Khan at the time of stoppage (Punchstats: Khan - 48 , Canelo - 64). Which do you consider most ridiculous one?
Lara than Mayweather.Lara won every round and still lost by wide ud.FBI looked into Mayweather/Canelo fight result.Canelo gets these decisions because he always goes forward, with punches or without.
Its a tough 1 i think they are all equally ridiculous and clearly show he has judges in his pocket. Ill probably go with the Mayweather draw but it could be any of them
Oscar to the opponent canyouweighlow Oscar to the judges canyouscorehigh Oscar to canelhoe the fix is in now gone get my money *****
I voted for mayw one but Lara was shocking also, even Trout was.He won like 8-4 vs Cotto but still, every Canelo bout ends with criminal decision in his favour. All he has to do is survive 12 rds and wins 118-109 like.
Good question. The thing with the CJ Ross card vs Floyd, you could literally be watching your first ever fight and it would be painfully obvious it was bull****.
I voted Trout purely on just how ridiculously the judge scored it in his favour. That fight had open scoring and the judge still didn't give a **** about letting people know what was going on.
The Mayweather one is the most obvious, but when you consider who scored it, it makes more sense. I think with Canelo, some of the favorable scoring is down to the judges maybe deliberately giving him the nod in closish rounds as it is good to stay in Golden Boys good graces and stay on the Alvarez/Golden Boy gravy train. Also, some judges, particularly American ones, always score for the fighter coming forward and pressing the action in close rounds. Doing this automatically is lazy judging as you should only score for the fighter pressing the action if the their aggression is effective. I believe this helped Canelo a lot in the Lara, Trout, Cotto, Khan and Mayweather fights.
