By this I mean, what fight saw the greatest fighter lose to the worst fighter, ie an ATG losing to someone so far below them. It doesn't matter if the ATG was totally washed-up by the time of the fight, I'm just trying to think of the worst ever blots on the resume on paper.

    I'm thinking...

Manny Pacquiao KO'd in 3 by RUSTICO TORRECAMPO
Mike Tyson stopped by KEVIN McBRIDE
Julio Cesar Chavez stopped by GROVER WILEY
Roberto Duran beaten by OMAR EDUARDO GONZALEZ and PAT LAWLOR

    More???

Hagler losing to someone like Ray Leonard. Marvin was a totally shot fighter you understand. Believe me, I would know.

Archie Moore getting KO'd by Leonard Morrow in one round.
Ezzard Charles losing to Toxie Hall (Charles was done by this time but still you never wanna see a great fall from grace to such a degree)

I dont think the Tyson lost to McBride was ridiculous. People just WOULD not belive how past it Tyson truly was. When Williams beat Tyson, should have giving us a clue perhaps. But it took McBride to take off the blind foes on our eyes. It was not ridiculous. Tyson was just shot.

Hagler was 'pound for pound' the best fighter in the world at the time. Faded and slower, but not totally shot. Past his prime? Absolutley.

    Taking into acount circumstances?

In that case I would say George Chip getting destroyed by Al McCoy in one round.

    Ali-Spinks is another I'd say.

I wouldn't like to include this fight, but Ali was shot to peices, and although he should never have lost to Spinks, there are worse losses.

I saw an old Ken Buchanan get out pointed over 8 rds by a youngster named Lance Williams whose record was 16-6-3 that was pretty sad.
